My path to becoming a financial advisor has been a bit unconventional. I’m a second-generation American, and I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. My parents immigrated to the United States in 1988 to create more opportunities for our family. Growing up, I saw how closely financial stability and emotional security are connected. That perspective shaped how I see money today – not just as numbers, but as something deeply tied to security, opportunity, and peace of mind. After graduating with degrees in Radiology and Medical Imaging, I spent several years working in CT/MRI at local hospitals as we relocated during my husband’s military career. In 2020, when Ben chose to leave the military to be more present for our daughter, I began diving deeply into our own finances. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion, especially around the psychology of money and why people make the financial decisions that shape their lives. Since entering the profession, I’ve been drawn to comprehensive planning that supports people through life transitions like loss, divorce, career changes, or stepping into a new chapter. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how confusing or incomplete financial advice can create lasting stress for families. I’m so excited to work in a fiduciary, team-based environment that prioritizes client-first planning and focuses on clarity, integrity, and stewardship. Outside of work, my husband and I love spending time with our daughter, Nadine, who keeps us laughing daily. We play Harry Potter Monopoly regularly and love belting out songs while we watch movies such as Wicked and The Greatest Showman. The space in our home is mostly taken up by our 3 dogs – Winnie, Max, and Albert. When we can, we slow life down on weekends in our camper, affectionately called “The Big Blue Gal.” Nadine and I are big Buffalo Bills fans (we are working on converting Ben to love the Bills as much as we do). We enjoy Husker sports and love all things Nebraska – especially Valentino’s and Runza!
